Day 1: Moreton Island We have pickup options from Gold Coast at 05:45, Sunshine Coast at 05:45, 05:50 and 06:15, from Brisbane at 07:00 and 07:45. Enjoy a beautiful cruise across the magnificent Moreton Bay on the MiCat Ferry with the air-conditioned comfort with cafe and bar facilities. Relax on the beach at the Tangalooma Wrecks and have fun in the sun. Enjoy a fully guided snorkelling tour of the Tangalooma Ship Wrecks. See sea turtles, dolphins, coral and thousands of beautiful reef fish. Discover the hidden underwater wonders of the Tangalooma Wrecks with our fully guided Transparent Kayaks. Experience the awesome Fish Frenzy in the transparent Kayaks. Feel the exhilaration of sand tobogganing at speeds of up to 70kms per hour. Experience a 4WD adventure in our 4WD Tough Bus as we travel the rugged 4WD tracks of Moreton Island to the desert. Swim the crystal clear beaches of Tangalooma Beach. After this, you can enjoy an optional activity such as nighttime transparent kayaking, an unforgettable experience at your expense. See colourful fish and coral as our kayaks light up at night with underwater lights. For many, this is a life-changing experience. You can also sit around a warm campfire roasting marshmallows and enjoy a few drinks with new friends and mother nature, only if weather conditions permit. Days 2: Moreton Island After breakfast, we go for a 4WD along the magnificent Eastern Surf Beach and swim in the naturally bubbling Champagne Pools, conditions permitting. Stop and visit the beautifully romantic Honeymoon Bay and North Point. You will 4WD in our awesome 4WD Bus to the stunning Cape Moreton Lighthouse and Museum. Spot turtles, dolphins, sharks, Manta Rays and whales during Whale Season. Enjoy a spectacular view of Moreton Island and the Eastern Beach. Swim in the breathtakingly beautiful Blue Lagoon freshwater lake. Experience the 4WD adventure as we explore bushland and beaches in our comfortable air-conditioned 4WD buses. At 18:30, we return to Brisbane or Sunshine Coast and by 19:30, we return to Gold Coast.

We will try our best effort to replace the cancelled activity with an Island scenic tour when unpredictable weather condition happens, however this is not guaranteed.

However, we can only allow one-time change (subject to availability), and the change must be made and confirmed with our reservations staff at least 24 hours prior to your original departure date. After one change has been made, no more change is allowed and a 100% cancellation fee applies (that is, no refund will be given).

Terms & Conditions:

Child rates are applicable for travelers aged 13 years and under. The concession rate is available as long as the customers can provide certain IDs to prove that they are students (domestic or international) or backpackers. All Minors (people under the age of 18) who book day tours without a parent or guardian attending the tour must call or email Sunset Safaris to disclose their age before booking the tour. A waiver form will be provided for parents or guardians to sign before tour departure. If a minor arrives on tour without parent or guardian permission and without a signed form, the minor will not be able to participate in activities of risk, and will not be eligible for a refund. For Multi-Day Tours, minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to be eligible to attend the tour. The nighttime transparent kayaking is subjected to winds, tides, and weather conditions on the day. Therefore, there is no set time for the activities. There is AUD 20 per person holiday surcharge for the tour during the Christmas holiday period, New Year's Day, and Easter long weekend. There is no surcharge on other public holidays. Due to traffic, and the extreme conditions experienced on Fraser Island to buses and the environment, Sunset Safaris reserves the right to alter or cancel any section of the itinerary which may result from the road, traffic, weather, mechanical, or any other condition or failure or delay of an operational nature without penalty, and such conditions will be considered as a force majeure event. Sunset Safaris will take all reasonable steps to rectify the situation during any such event, however, no liability will be accepted by Sunset Safaris in circumstances outside of Sunset Safaris control. No responsibility or liability will be taken in the event of injury from pre-existing medical conditions eg bad back, accident, injury, loss, or damage to persons or property due to persons own negligence. These booking conditions do not waive Sunset Safaris from any of its obligations according to law. Please note that Sunday departure and return times have altered due to changes with ferry operations. The tour is subject to tidal and weather conditions. Optional extras paid on arrival: You can upgrade to budget back paper accommodation, beach house unit for double and twin share rooms from only AUD 55 extra per person, private single share rooms from only AUD 110 extra per person, and Eco Glamping for double and twin share from only AUD 85 extra per person, single share from only AUD 170 extra per person and Quad Share from only AUD 75 extra per person, ideal for small groups or family, nighttime transparent kayaking on the Tangalooma Wreck at your expense.
