Both the&nbsp;morning&nbsp;and&nbsp;afternoon estuary fishing charter&nbsp;starts with the beginning of the gathering of live bait via a cast net by our experienced fishing guide before moving up into the estuary of&nbsp;Trinity Inlet, Cairns.&nbsp;Actual fishing locations may be chosen based on prevailing weather and tidal conditions. On our full-day estuary fishing charter, the vessel comes back to the Cairns Marlin Marina for one hour. At the Pier Shopping Centre and along the Cairns Esplanade there are takeaway outlets and restaurants to organize lunch. In our morning fishing charter we ask you to meet at 7.00 am; in our afternoon fishing charter we ask you to meet at 12.50 pm, there is 4.5 hours of fishing to do!

We supply the following

	<li>Your sunnies, sunscreen, camera, and a few beers (cans only) are okay. 
	 
	Commonly caught species include Thread &amp; Blue Salmon, Mangrove Jacks, Fingermark, Grunter, Queen Fish, GT-Trevally, Estuary Cod, Bream, Tarpon, Hairtails to name a few....and the prize catch of barramundi (Fish Species are seasonal). 
	 
	NOTE from 1st November to 31st January there is a barramundi closure. This means if any barramundi is caught they are to be released safely back into the water.

	Darryl has an extensive local knowledge and wealth of fishing experience in&nbsp;Cairns&nbsp;&amp; the Cairns Region in Far North Queensland this makes&nbsp;him the best fishing guide in Cairns. Just recently, has spent time being a fishing guide in Papua New Guinea, along side Captain Barry Cross. Captain Barry Cross introduced the world of&nbsp;Popper fishing&nbsp;on&nbsp;the Great Barrier Reef&nbsp;for&nbsp;GT`s&nbsp;(also known as&nbsp;Giant Trevally) to Darryl.&nbsp;Reef Popper fishing for GT`s from Cairns&nbsp;on the bucket list of many people.

	COVID-19 WORK SAFE PRACTICES

	We are happy to announce as of Friday 12th June 2020, we will be operating our fishing charters from Cairns.

	To help us with Safe Work Practices we are introducing the following-

		<li>We ask all our customers to wash hands prior to boarding and we will provide hand sanitizer and/or the use of a bucket of water and soap for all to use.</li>
		<li>The vessel will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each charter.</li>
		<li>We have downloaded the Covid Safe app and we recommend our customers do the same.</li>
		<li>We ask everyone to respect each other&rsquo;s space/social distancing-let common sense prevail.</li>
		<li>These procedures are subject to change as per necessary.</li>
