WHAT TO EXPECT
Visit world-famous Whitehaven Beach in style by seaplane. Your adventure begins with a courtesy bus collection from your Airlie Beach hotel, for convenient transfers to the plane for takeoff.
Your aircraft will fly over the beautiful turquoise water of the Whitsundays with islands and bays on full display. Take in the amazing view of the swirling sands of Hill Inlet. Located at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, on Whitsunday Island, the deep turquoise waters mix with the white sands as the tide flows in and out, creating a picture-perfect effect. It's one of Mother Nature's most striking artworks.
Next, you fly along the expansive stretch of Whitehaven Beach for once-in-a-lifetime photos. This spectacular flight lands gracefully on the aquamarine waters of Whitehaven for a relaxing visit to one of Queensland's most iconicbeaches. It's not only famous for crystal clear waters, but also white silica sands that are perfect for sinking your toes into. The beach stretches for over 7 kilometres, so there's plenty of space to relax and soak in the sun.
You'll spend 90 minutes at Whitehaven, which includes a delicious fresh lunch that you can savour as you take in the view. Plus, you can stretch your legs and help lunch digest with a self-guided walk to the South Whitehaven lookout, or make use of paddleboards and other beach activities.
Also included on this tour is a snorkelling stop at Chalkies Beach on Haslewood Island. It sits across the bay from Whitehaven Beach and also has the same soft, silica white sand and clear turquoise waters. The reef at Haslewood offers excellent snorkelling opportunities with beautiful coral and marine life including ray and fish. Use of snorkelling equipment and stinger suits is included. When it's time to say farewell to paradise, you'll board the seaplane for the scenic journey back to Airlie Beach.
