What to Expect

Day One: Welcome To Italy!

Later you will join an informative orientation walk that passes the Roman Forum, arriving at one of Rome's masterpieces: the Colosseum. Join us for dinner as we introduce you to Italian cuisine.

Day Two: The Sights Of Rome

Meet our guide early in the morning for an orientation walk through the winding roman back streets. See the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Then head to Vatican City. Visit the St. Peter's Basilica or book a tour of the Vatican Museums. This includes the Sistine Chapel (tickets included) with a licensed tour guide. You'll then have a free evening in Rome.

Day Three: Explore Venice

Now we head to Venice. Join a walking tour where you hear all about Venice and its history. Finish at Piazza San Marco, and see the beautiful Basilica di San Marco, take all the photos you can and enjoy the area.

Day Four: Relax In Venice

Enjoy free time in Venice. Treat yourself, relax and have a Spritz next to the canal. Eat some local seafood or have Gondola ride in the Grand Canal!

Day Five: Romance In Verona!

We now head to Verona, made famous by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Your tour guide will tell you all you need to know about this incredible city. Don't forget your camera; this area is known for its stunning architecture.

Day Six: Head To Milan

Head to Milan to stock up on new outfits for the remainder of your tour! We show you sights such as the beautiful Duomo and the incredible Victorious Emanuel Gallery. We then take you to the nightlife area of Milan; the Navigli.

Day Seven: Lake Como

One of the most famous lakes in Italy is Lake Como. Join us as we enjoy the area and see the amazing cathedral. Then see the best views from the lake on the first ferry to Bellagio, and after exploring the area, catch a ferry to Varenna where you take the train back to Milan.

Day Eight: Turin

The first capital of Italy, we take you on an extensive tour of the beautiful and historic city of Turin. Our experienced tour leader will talk you through the vast history of this area.

Day Nine: Free Time In Turin

We now have a day off in this incredible city. Take in history with its museums and its 19th-century formal style, closer to the representation of the "South Germany" style in Italy.

Day Ten: Rennaissance Florence

The city of Arts is an unforgettable experience, and this is where we begin. You take a train to Florence and then meet our tour staff at the office to start our evening walking tour. We finish in the liveliest area of the city with an Italian aperitivo. Here you can enjoy a drink and eat as much as you want!

Day Eleven: Explore Florence

Take this free day to explore Florence on your own time. We recommend you go to the Gallery to see the stunning work of Michaelangelo or walk in the stunning streets of Florence. This is a great opportunity to try the delicious Florentine Steak!

Day Twelve: Wine Tasting

Today is our big winery day! We will stop at two wineries in the Chianti Classico region. Surrounded by beauty, olive trees, and vineyards where you will taste up to seven different types of wines, balsamic vinegar, and the delicious truffle extra virgin olive oil. You will now have free time in the area of San Gimignano. We suggest you taste the world-champion gelateria in town. We aim to have you back at Florence in enough time to have a free evening.

Day Thirteen: Say Goodbye

The official end of the tour has arrived so don't forget to leave your accommodation at 10 am. Stash your bags at the accommodation, and keep exploring or grab some tickets back to Rome.

Frequently Asked Questions

We promote a youth market 18-39 years old. What does this mean? Does it mean that you have just had your 40th birthday so you won't be welcome if you are a more seasoned traveler? That we are going to card you at the door? No way!

It means that we have a general audience of college students, backpackers, solo travelers, etc... that often fall into this category. The tours are more fast-paced, budget-minded and include activities for travelers to meet and connect with other passengers of the same age from all parts of the world who share the same interests, lifestyles, and travel styles.

We are not strict with the age limit and people older than 39 are always welcome to join our tours as long as you are young in heart, have no walking disabilities and are happy to be with younger people.

Our brand is designed around this unique experience geared towards younger travelers, so only passengers that fit this demographic travel with us.

Don’t panic! The first step is to speak to your bank. All purchases made on our website will appear as purchases being made in Switzerland as our website booking provider is a Swiss-based company, so be sure your bank is aware you will be making Swiss purchases to avoid having your payment flagged as possible fraudulent activity. If you cannot resolve the problem with your bank, you should email immediately so we can proceed with a manual booking.

Let us start by saying that If you want to pay for one of your products but the Credit Card is in a different currency than the currency in which we sell our tours, then you have 2 options. This can be selected on the screen where you enter your credit card details by selecting "view currency conversion options":

Option A

TrekkSoft does the currency conversion to accept the customer's currency, exchanging that into the currency in which we operate our tours.  This is called dynamic currency conversion since we display the actual USD price  (Or whatever currency your card is in) to you at the time of booking and this is the amount which is debited from your card without any further conversions or charges.

Option B

The card issuer ( your bank) does this currency conversion and applies a commission and processing fee. So this is when a tour is in EUR for example, and you are charged in EUR even though your credit card account is in USD. So your bank gives you an exchange rate which you will only see on your monthly statement.

In either case, as we are not a bank, the conversion is not the same as you would see on the likes of since these are the wholesale currency values, these rates are not available to anyone in reality.

The retail rates are always higher since there are differences in buying selling rates, and there are commissions and transaction fees when exchanging currencies. Whatever currency you pay, we will receive the amount as displayed in EUR

The hostels we collaborate with are very safe in fact in each room you can find a personal locker where you can store your valuable objects and bags. You just need to bring your own lock or sometimes you can hire it directly at the reception.
