Day One: Welcome To Italy!
First stop of this 13-day journey! Check-in to your hostel and meet the rest of the group and at reception. Later you will join an informative orientation walk that passes the Roman Forum, arriving at one of Rome's masterpieces: the Colosseum. Join us for dinner as we introduce you to Italian cuisine.
Day Two: The Sights Of Rome
Meet our guide early in the morning for an orientation walk through the winding roman back streets. See the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Then head to Vatican City. Visit the St. Peter's Basilica or book a tour of the Vatican Museums. This includes the Sistine Chapel (tickets included) with a licensed tour guide. You'll then have a free evening in Rome.
Day Three: Explore Venice
Now we head to Venice. Join a walking tour where you hear all about Venice and its history. Finish at Piazza San Marco, and see the beautiful Basilica di San Marco, take all the photos you can and enjoy the area.
Day Four: Relax In Venice
Enjoy free time in Venice. Treat yourself, relax and have a Spritz next to the canal. Eat some local seafood or have Gondola ride in the Grand Canal!
Day Five: Romance In Verona!
We now head to Verona, made famous by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Your tour guide will tell you all you need to know about this incredible city. Don't forget your camera; this area is known for its stunning architecture.
Day Six: Head To Milan
Head to Milan to stock up on new outfits for the remainder of your tour! We show you sights such as the beautiful Duomo and the incredible Victorious Emanuel Gallery. We then take you to the nightlife area of Milan; the Navigli.
Day Seven: Lake Como
One of the most famous lakes in Italy is Lake Como. Join us as we enjoy the area and see the amazing cathedral. Then see the best views from the lake on the first ferry to Bellagio, and after exploring the area, catch a ferry to Varenna where you take the train back to Milan.
Day Eight: Turin
The first capital of Italy, we take you on an extensive tour of the beautiful and historic city of Turin. Our experienced tour leader will talk you through the vast history of this area.
Day Nine: Free Time In Turin
We now have a day off in this incredible city. Take in history with its museums and its 19th-century formal style, closer to the representation of the "South Germany" style in Italy.
Day Ten: Rennaissance Florence
The city of Arts is an unforgettable experience, and this is where we begin. You take a train to Florence and then meet our tour staff at the office to start our evening walking tour. We finish in the liveliest area of the city with an Italian aperitivo. Here you can enjoy a drink and eat as much as you want!
Day Eleven: Explore Florence
Take this free day to explore Florence on your own time. We recommend you go to the Gallery to see the stunning work of Michaelangelo or walk in the stunning streets of Florence. This is a great opportunity to try the delicious Florentine Steak!
Day Twelve: Wine Tasting
Today is our big winery day! We will stop at two wineries in the Chianti Classico region. Surrounded by beauty, olive trees, and vineyards where you will taste up to seven different types of wines, balsamic vinegar, and the delicious truffle extra virgin olive oil. You will now have free time in the area of San Gimignano. We suggest you taste the world-champion gelateria in town. We aim to have you back at Florence in enough time to have a free evening.
Day Thirteen: Say Goodbye
The official end of the tour has arrived so don't forget to leave your accommodation at 10 am. Stash your bags at the accommodation, and keep exploring or grab some tickets back to Rome.
