WHAT TO EXPECT

On this tour, you get to experience 30 minutes of stunning sites of Tasmania from a helicopter, including Port Arthur Historic Site, rugged capes, Tasman Island, and Shipstern Buff. You're going to see some of the world's tallest sea cliffs. With club seating, everyone is guaranteed a window seat.

Head to the Port Arthur Heli Base to depart on a 30-minute helicopter tour of the grand Tasman Peninsula. As you depart from the base, catch a glimpse Port Arthur Historic Site and out across to Cape Pillar, home to towering dolerite cliffs. Spot the coast-hutting Three Capes Track down below.

Circling above Tasman Island, muse over long past lighthouse keepers of this remote outpost. Next, it’s out to Cape Raoul, once used as target practice by the British Army. See why Crescent Bay turns heads with its refined white-sand curve. Down at Shipsterns, watch for surfers drawn by heaving southern swell to this famed break.

On this tour, you'll see Three Capes Track, Tasman Island, Tasman Golf Course, Shipstern Bluff (Home of Red Bull Cape Fear 2019), Port Arthur Lavender, Port Arthur Historic Site, McHenry Distillery, Historic Lighthouse, Denmans Cove, Crescent Bay, Cape Raoul, and Cape Pillar. This is the ultimate way to explore the Tasman Peninsula during a 30-minute educational helicopter tour.

The helicopters have limited payload they can lift so for the safety of all guests and crew we need to know accurately what the total weight of our aircraft is. This also helps us in planning refuelling requirements for the helicopter. Individual guests in excess of 110kg will be required to pay for an additional seat as we will be required to restrict further seats on the aircraft.
