This one-day tour from Auckland will leave you feeling like you just found paradise! The perfect way to explore the best of the stunning North Island, this trip takes you past some of the must-see spots in the area. Spectacular beaches, famous coves and stunning views make this a journey to remember!
Your day starts with a free pickup from your hotel in Auckland. From there, begin your scenic drive through the New Zealand country on your way to incredible Coromandel.
The first stop of your trip is Cathedral Cove, one of New Zealand's most famous beaches. This beautiful spot is the perfect place for some stunning holiday snaps.
As there are no roads to this beach, you'll be taking a water taxi ride to get there! Once you've arrived, its time to relax, sunbathe, swim, play sport or just enjoy the spectacular views.
Next, it's on to the famous Hot Water Beach. Here, you can dig a hole in the sand to find a natural hot geothermal water bath and enjoy the cool ocean waves.
It’s up to you if you want to spend more time at Cathedral Cove or Hot Water Beach. Suncastles and spades or beachside views - take your pick!
After you've finished playing in the sun and sand, it's time to start the drive back to Auckland. Luckily there's time for a quick ice cream stop along the way.
If you really can't bear to end the day - and you want a little more adventure - there's the option to see a native Kauri forest. Travelling aboard the Driving Creek Railway, you'll embark on a 1-hour breath-taking train ride through the native forest. Your destination is the top of the mountain and the Eyefull Tower, where you'll be treated to amazing panoramic views. Please note this trip is an additional $35 per person and can be booked and paid for directly with the supplier.
This is a full day tour, with pickup at 6 am and drop off between 6-7pm, depending on traffic.
