Yes!&nbsp;&nbsp;You are welcome to BYO alcohol on board, but the tour operator asks that you drink responsibly. They provide a large esky full of ice for your use.

But note - there is a Banana Policy!&nbsp;This bit of boating wisdom came with the boat.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s common knowledge that Mariners view bananas as bearers of bad luck. The reasons for this, and the way that bad luck manifests, varies depending on who you talk to but, in the interest of making sure you have a great day out - we&rsquo;d sooner leave them off-board.​

The tour operator will contact you the night before &ndash; prior to 8pm - if the weather forecast is not looking ideal to discuss options.

The tour begins with a picturesque cruise from Surfers Paradise to Wavebreak Island, showcasing the stunning homes along the Nerang River and the expansive Gold Coast Broadwater. Your island journey pauses briefly to witness the 1.30pm ritual of the famous pelican feeding, where close to 100 pelicans swoop in to gather their lunch feast! Keep your eye out for the resident wildlife, like dolphins, sea turtles, and the occasional dugon.

Upon reaching Wavebreak Island, the &#39;Beachcomber&#39; anchors for about 90 minutes, giving you the chance to engage in various activities, like floating on the Aqua Lily Mat, swimming, or indulging in a spot of fishing. If you haven&#39;t had your cheese and fruit platter, now is the perfect time to take it with you and enjoy a picnic on the beach.

Then, after your island escape, rejoin the group back on board for a leisurely 30-minute cruise back to Surfers Paradise.
