What to Expect

Fall in love with Shark Bay's amazing natural scenery, wander through the Pinnacles Desert and uncover the many natural wonders of Kalbarri National Park. You'll also explore Monkey Mia's beautiful beaches and make friends with some wild dolphins!  Fill your days with guided bush hikes through stunning red rugged gorges and coastal drives past rugged sea cliffs. Discover for yourself what makes this part of Australia so special.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Perth to Kalbarri (lunch and dinner)
Kick off your adventure in the huge white sand dunes of Lancelin.

Follow up the action with a guided tour through the Pinnacles Desert. Wander through the fascinating limestone formations and yellow sand dunes.

After working up an appetite, enjoy lunch by the sea before hitting the road up Indian Ocean Drive. Get ready for some stunning coastal views!

Make a quick stop in Geraldton, and then it’s on to the sleepy seaside town of Kalbarri where you'll stay for the night.

Day 2: Kalbarri National Park to Shark Bay (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Start the day with a trip to Kalbarri National Park, Here, visit the marvels of the Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window and Z Bend. This is where water has carved its way through sandstone over thousands of years. You have the option to try abseiling here (additional cost). If you're visiting during the spring, you'll also be treated to a landscape of bright pops of colour as its wildflower season!
Later, enjoy a great photo opportunity at Nature’s Window before strolling along a beach made entirely of tiny shells. Beautiful!

Then, it’s on to Denham where you'll settle into your accommodation by the beach.

Day 3: Shark Bay to Northbrook (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
This morning, meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and snap amazing photos. Choose to hire a kayak and go for a paddle (optional extra) or chill out on the beach or at the resort.

After making some slippery friends, you'll head to the incredible rock formations called the Stromatolites.

Later, it's time to head to your accommodation for the night on an Aussie farm.

Day 4: Northbrook to Perth (breakfast, lunch)
Take in your last views of the countryside before making your way back towards Perth.

Make one last stop at Greenough Wildlife Park, a park which helps fund wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Here you can hand feed some of the resident kangaroos!

Afterwards, kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch to Perth. Drop-offs start around 6.30 pm.

This is a 4-day tour, starting and finishing in Perth.
