Day One - Saturday: Arrival in Venice
Welcome to the tour. Check-in starts from 2 pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your bags at the accommodation. Your guide will walk you through the plan for the week. Then, we head to an orientation tour of the 'City of Canals'. Take in the Cathedral of Saint Mark, the Ducal Palace, and Rialto Bridge. The evening is all yours, roam and explore the winding streets of this beautiful city. Enjoy dinner with traditional delicacies.
Day Two - Sunday: Venice Free Time
Day two is all yours to see the stunning city of Venice! Feel free to ask your guide for suggestions or activities to do in the city. There is an optional half-day tour of the islands of Burano and Murano. This suits people who want to learn the art and craft of lace and glass making and want to hop on a gondola and have the gondolier serenade you under the Venetian stars.
Day Three - Monday: Rome
Leave the accommodation in Venice at 10 am and spend the last morning hours to explore what's left in the city. From here, join us on a fast speed train to Rome where you will arrive in the early afternoon. After checking in, you will have some time to relax before meeting up with your guide at 5 pm for a walk through the city. Enjoy the sunset over the Roman Forum and Colosseum before we end the day with a traditional Italian dinner at an authentic restaurant.
Day Four - Tuesday: Rome & Vatican City
Meet us in the morning as we walk through Rome. Discover stunning attractions such as Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps and lots more. We will then head to Vatican City, where you will have free time to explore the area. Then we offer an optional guided tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (tickets to this tour are included with the trip). You then have a free evening in Rome!
Day Five - Wednesday: Florence
Today, you will have some free time in the morning before we leave for Florence. After check-in, your tour leader will take you for a guided walk of the city. You will get to see sights such as the beautiful gothic Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio and the Ponte Vecchio, to name a few. The walking tour will end on one of the busiest streets of Florence, renowned for its bars and nightlife. Here, you will have a traditional aperitivo at a bar favoured by locals, which is a meal consisting of cocktails and an all-you-can-eat-buffet!
Day Six - Thursday: Pisa & Cinque Terre
Meet your tour leader and take the train to Pisa at 7 am. Once you arrive, you will have some free time to see the Square of Miracles and see the impressive Cathedral, Baptistery, Campo Santo, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. From here we take a train to La Spezia and arrive at the Cinque Terre, where you can see the villages of the Liguria Region. This area is famous for its naturally beautiful, scenic trails and sandy beaches. You will be taken through villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, and Vernazza. The day will end with sunbathing on the beach or taking a dive in the warm waters of Vernazza. We will return to Florence at 8 pm.
Day Seven - Friday: Chianti Region
Today we head to the winery region. We begin at a Wine Tasting School, where you will sample four different types of wine. You will also get to taste truffle olive oil and a 30-year old balsamic vinegar. Refine your palette and see how the best local produce is made! We then head to a local winery, where you sample three types of wines: DOCG Vernaccia white, a Rosé, and a Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG.We end this day by heading to San Gimignano. Your guide will hand you maps and tips on where to go. This is also the home of an award-winning gelateria, so don't forget to have a taste before we head back!
Day Eight - Saturday: Check Out
Our tour officialy ends on this day. Check out is 10 am, but you can store your luggage at the accommodation if you wish to explore more of Florence before you head off. If you are returning to Venice, our team can help you with organising the train tickets.
