Take a trip to the islands with Huaka'i Luau – Journey Through Polynesia. Learn about Polynesian culture and enjoy an evening of fun, immersing yourself in a blend of traditional Luau foods, including Hawaii's regional cuisine.
This luau, which features a live band, ancient dance, and fire dancers, is themed towards the different islands of Polynesia and is well-organized to give you a complete understanding and overview of the fascinating Hawaiian-Polynesian history. It's presented beneath the stars and palm trees at the ocean's edge.
As the show begins, indulge in a multi-course Hawaiian-American buffet. It includes dishes like traditional Kailua pig, sauteed mahi-mahi with lilikoi buerre blanc, pan-seared pineapple chicken, and tasty sides. Finish it off with a sweet island dessert. Then, to quench your thirst, there is everything from fruit punch and soft drinks to Huakai's special Mai Tai's and Blue Hawaii's.
General admission tickets include entry to the show, dinner, dessert, & 2 drinks from the bar (additional beverages are available for purchase). The luau is held at an indoor open-air restaurant in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
- Dress comfortably, wear closed-toe walking shoes and keep an eye on the local weather forecast because circumstances on Maui can change suddenly. No bare feet, please.
- Wear comfortable clothes throughout the warmer months, but keep in mind that the weather might drop significantly when the sun sets.
- Sunscreen, a light sweater, a hat, and sunglasses are all recommended.
- Please bring a face mask with you as required by Maui County.
- Pants and dresses and long-sleeved shirts are recommended during the colder months. A sweater or light jacket will certainly make you feel more at ease.
