General Terms and Conditions All guests are responsible for: o Following the direction/instructions of the driver/guide. o Ensuring that they (or any minor they are responsible for) are wearing a seatbelt. A seatbelt must be worn at all times by all guests when travelling in the vehicle. Police do patrol Bribie Island and its beaches. All road rules apply when driving on the beaches and inland tracks. Queensland road rules and fines will apply if you are not wearing your seatbelt. o Any damages to equipment/facilities provided. This includes any kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and/or camping equipment supplied or any other equipment provided in conjunction with this tour. o Personal behaviour; Your driver/guide and the management team have the authority to remove anyone who is aggressive/abusive towards any fellow guests or G'day Adventure Tour staff. o Personal belongings; G'day Adventure Tours accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any personal belongings being stored or in transit. Tour itineraries are subject to change without notice due to tide times, seasons, weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control. G'day Adventure tours will always endeavour to have any problems fixed as quickly as possible and with minimal impact on your Island experience but we will not compensate for any of the following: o Damage to any personal items such as camera's, clothing or backpacks o Personal stress and anguish experienced due to a breakdown o Time lost due to equipment failure or severe weather conditions o Any impact on the tour due to Natural disasters, Cyclones or extreme weather conditions or any act of terrorism Terms and Conditions for Bribie Island 4X4 Adventure tour and 4WD Beach & Bunker tour Conditions listed in General Terms and Conditions apply, as well as the following: o You will be entering a tidal wilderness zone. The operator reserves the right to alter itinerary as required. o Due to tides and weather/beach conditions, tour lengths may vary. o Not suitable for children under 7 years of age o Please bring a towel, sunscreen, Swimsuit and footwear (flip-flops/thongs are preferred). Passenger Requirements o Due to the uncontrollable nature of roads and 4WD tracks, passengers with back problems are advised against participating in this activity. o All passengers must be able to safely step up into and out of a Landcruiser 4WD vehicle. The operator reserves the right to alter itinerary as required. o Due to tides and weather/beach conditions, tour lengths may vary. o Not suitable for children under 7 years of age o Please bring a towel, sunscreen, Swimsuit and footwear (flip-flops/thongs are allowed). o It's an offence to operate a vessel (powered or unpowered) and to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.05 or more; or to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A person does not have to be 0.05 or more to be charged with driving under the influence. If you are incapable of exercising effective control of the vessel or fulfilling your duty on the vessel due to alcohol or any other drug you can be charged with operating under the influence Passenger Requirements o All customers participating in the Bribie Island 4X4, Kayak, Beach & Bunker Tour are required to complete the Acceptance of Risk and Medical Form. o Due to the uncontrollable nature of roads and 4WD tracks, passengers with back problems are advised against participating in this activity. o All passengers must be able to safely step up into and out of a Landcruiser 4WD vehicle. o If you are on prescription drugs, ask your doctor or pharmacist if they will affect your ability to operate a vessel safely. o If you capsize and cannot right your craft, stay with it - it is much easier to spot a vessel in the water than it is a person. o If your craft is involved in an incident or you witness an incident you have a legal obligation to stop and provide assistance. Where additional assistance is required and you have a mobile phone with you dial 000 to alert the appropriate authority. o If an incident occurs, you will be required to provide the time and place of the collision, the circumstances, names and addresses of witnesses and the nature of the damage or loss. Injury/Accident Report Forms are available, if required please request one from your guide. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by the Tour Operator and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled Tour, product or service. Cancellation and Refund policy for day tours: a. Cancellations received for any confirmed booking will incur a minimum penalty of 25% per person. b. Cancellations received within 7-3 days of departure will incur a penalty of 50% per person. c. Cancellations received within 2-0 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person. d. Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment. e. Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip. In this circumstance it is policy to fully refund affected customers, although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation. f. Customers have the option to be provided with a gift card to the value of their purchase for use on the same tour at a future date. This gift card is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Rescheduling Fee policy for day tours: a. Tour rescheduling requests received more than 72 hours prior to any tour can be processed as long as the request is received in writing prior to this timeframe. b. Tour rescheduling requests received less than 72 hours prior to any tour incur a rescheduling fee of 25% and is dependent on operator availability. This request must be received in writing. c. Tour rescheduling requests received less than 48 hours prior to any tour may not be able to be facilitated. If a suitable tour is available, this will incur a rescheduling fee of 50%. Rescheduling less than 48 hours prior to a tour is up to the discretion of management. This request must be received in writing. If a Tour is cancelled by the Tour Operator before the date of departure for reasons other than Force Majeure and the cancellation is not caused by your fault or negligence, you will have the choice of accepting from the Tour Operator: a. a substitute Tour of equivalent or superior value; or b. a substitute Tour of lesser value if no Tour of equivalent or superior value is reasonably available and to recover from the Tour Operator the difference in price between the price of the Tour originally purchased and the substitute Tour; or c. a full refund of all monies paid for the cancelled Tour. The Tour Operator is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of the cancelled booking including visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment. The Tour Operator reserves the right to issue a full refund in lieu of the choices above, in its sole discretion. Where a significant element of a Tour as described cannot be provided after departure, the Tour Operator will make suitable alternative arrangements where possible. If it is not possible to provide a suitable alternative or if you reasonably reject any suitable alternatives, the Tour Operator may provide you with a refund for unused products or services as determined in its discretion. Refund Procedure Your refund request will be answered and processed within 7 business days. If you do not receive the reply within this timeframe, please call the office immediately. We will not be responsible if email, mail or fax fail to reach us.
