For safety reasons, personal cameras are not allowed during the climb, but professional photos can be purchased afterwards.
Yes, all children 6-16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian whilst climbing. (Children between 6-9 must have 1 adult to 1 child ratio and children between 10-16 can have 1 adult to 3 children ratio). Please note, children under the age of 6 will be unable to participate in the climb.
It’s a journey of almost a kilometre up over the bridge’s superstructure with a viewing platform 80m above the Brisbane River as it flows past the city heart.
The climb is completely safe & secure. Each climber wears a safety belt harness attached via a lanyard to the bridge safety cable for the duration of the climb.
