WHAT TO EXPECT
Wilsons Promontory or 'The Prom', is one of Victoria's most loved and cherished natural attractions. A pristine area of more than 50,000 hectares, there's plenty to explore here. With panoramic views, pristine white beaches, coastal forest, cool climate rainforests and well preserved walking tracks, this is a truly magical spot.
This tour will show you all the highlights and will introduce you to a natural haven that with intrigue and inspire you. You'll spend 3-4 hours exploring the area with bushwalks, bird watching and animal spotting opportunities galore! Wilson's Prom is home to many marsupials, such as wombats and kangaroos, native birds and other native animals such as emus, which you'll be able to see up close.
The best way to explore the Prom is on foot as it gives you the chance to take in the rugged natural surrounds. Explore tracks such as Lilly Pilly Gully and wander along the sand at Squeaky Beach. Take in amazing panoramic views on the Verekers Outlook track or more rugged Mount Bishop path (easy to medium grade walks).
You'll also visit Tidal Flat where you can learn more about this extraordinary national park.
With small groups, there's plenty of time to get out and see as much of 'The Prom' as possible, without having to wait for others.
This tour includes all park entrance fees, friendly, informative tour guide and transfers to/from Melbourne. Tour departs between 7.15am - 7.30am and returns approximately 8.00pm. Departs Sunday and Wednesday and Friday (only in summer).
