Accommodation pick up and drop off is included in your tour price at no extra charge

We will confirm this after your booking. Feel free to send through an email or give us a call letting us know what day you want to tour and where you’re staying and we will send back all the information you need. Generally, morning tour pick ups start at 7:30am in Broadbeach. We like to be departing the city by 8am before the morning traffic gets too busy. The afternoon tour to Natural Bridge picks up between 12:00-12.30pm and the Evening tour 18:00-18:30. Your pickup time will depend on the location.

Our venues offer undercover dining and we carry big umbrellas in all our vehicles so if it does rain we can keep you covered and dry all day. We have water proofed our tour and the last thing we want is you to be uncomfortable or unhappy.

When checking weather forecast be aware that during the course of the day we travel through 3 x forecast Regions, Not just the Gold Coast Region. Being a sub-Tropical climate a forecast of a possible shower means that it might shower for ten minutes in one part of the whole Gold Coast region. When it does it can still be 28 degrees.

Due to the altitudes of the mountains and the coastal winds etc we can sometimes have 3 seasons in a day. All vehicles have access to smartphones and are aware of the weather at all times and can move the days itinerary around so we don’t miss anything and still have a great day. Rainforests would not be what they are if it didn’t rain so we may encounter the odd shower but this will not stop us doing the tour.

Our number one motto with the rain is “If it didn’t rain we would not have Rainforests”. Please be aware should we think its going to be a miserable day or unsafe to proceed we will advise the night before tour.

We have been doing these tours for a long time and we want to ensure that you enjoy the day in all weather so you can go home knowing that it was not a day wasted.

A big question we get asked all the time is, I have kids can they come ? or I’m bringing my elderly parents, is the tour suitable? Please be assured our tours are for all ages. Our tours are guided from start to finish and we are constantly looking out for everyone on tour. We cater for school groups to cruise ships, young to old and as we only travel in small groups we ensure that we customise the tour on the day to who is on board with us.

You always have the option to book a private tour and the added advantage is you can change the day as we proceed.

If your always concerned you could just book a half day tour with us but our number one tour is only a few hours longer and has so much to offer.

Southern Cross uses 4WD Mercedes vehicles (16 seaters) for most tours and a smaller 7 seater vehicle for our private tours. All vehicles are sign written with our company name so you should be able to identify us easily when we arrive at your hotel.

No Problem! If we have the seats available and you’re having too much fun we can let you know the upgrade fee and you can continue on with us. The half day tour is the beginning of the full day tour so we will let you know what time in the morning you need to tell us.

We also ask that you call 24-48 hours prior to your tour to confirm all your details. Things we need to confirm is

30 min to 1 hour before your tour you may receive a text message from us confirming a few things. Not all tours receive these text messages but if you do please read carefully.
