Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1 litre), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, cash for purchasing a dot painting directly from artists at sunset (optional), USB chargers (there are USB ports on the luxury coach).

There is a maximum of 52 people on the tour bus. You will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned coach with a toilet on board.

At dinner, water and juice are served as well as sparkling wine. For beer or other beverages, you are welcome to bring 2-3 drinks. We recommend giving these to your guide at pick up and they will put it in the cooler box for you to enjoy with dinner.

The tour operator will collect you from outside your Alice Springs accommodation&nbsp;from&nbsp;6am.

Arriving into Yulara at approximately 11:45am, make a quick stop to stretch you&#39;ll legs. Your guides will provide you with a freshly made packed lunch to eat on the drive to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. NOTE: Only available up to 31 Mar 2024; Kata Tjuta and the lunch are not included from 1 April 2024).

Afterwards, it&#39;s time to head to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you will have time to learn about the local Pitjantjatjara people, also referred to as the Anangu people. The Cultural Centre was built with 90,000 mud bricks with the help of the local Anangu people. It&#39;s built on a sacred site and has very special meaning.

After learning a little about the culture of the area, you&#39;ll head to the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock). From here you&#39;ll embark on a guided Mala Walk. The Mala Walk follows the north-west side of Uluru, where there are many&nbsp;examples of Anangu rock art. Hear stories about these paintings from your guide&nbsp;and marvel at the sheer vertical walls of The Rock. Your guide will also tell Dreamtime stories of the Anangu People.

Once you&#39;ve completed the walk, you&#39;ll meet the bus at the Kuniya car park at the back of Uluru. From here, you&#39;ll embark on the&nbsp;second Uluru&nbsp;walk of the day to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Your guide will take you along a short track to the waterhole which is the home of an ancestral water snake called Wanampi. Your guide will share stories of local traditions and explain how the Anangu people traditionally used the waterhole for hunting. The caves around the waterhole contain&nbsp;rock art and&nbsp;were used in the past by Anangu people who are still alive today. 
&nbsp;

Then, as&nbsp;evening falls, it&#39;s time for the highlight of the day. Settle back to watch the breathtaking Uluru sunset with a glass of bubbly and a delicious Aussie BBQ. It&#39;s the perfect end to a spectacular day. After sunset&nbsp;hit the road back to Alice Springs.

This tour departs Alice Springs at approx 6am from March to October, or at approx 7am November to February. You&rsquo;ll return to Alice Springs accommodation at approx 12am from March to October or at approx 1am from November to February.
