This Blue Mountains adventure commences in the early morning. Shuffle onto a tour bus and acquaint yourself with the group before hitting the first stop — Glenbrook. The tour stops here for breakfast, coffee, drinks, and bathrooms before heading up the mountains.
Once the bus gets to Katoomba, embark on an informative hike to the Honeymoon Bridge to see and learn about the Aboriginally significant, conic landmark the Three Sisters.
After that, the tour heads over to Wentworth Falls. The tour does a 90 min nature hike down to the Undercliff walk, Stairs of Doom, and National Pass, which leads to amazing viewpoints of the Jamison Valley and the 187m tall Wentworth Falls. This hike is not overly demanding, but if you don’t feel up to it, then you can do the walk to the first waterfall and stroll back in your own time to meet with the second guide who is cooking a BBQ lunch.
All that sightseeing, bushwalking, and waterfalls make people hungry! After your hike, the tour comes back to an Aussie BBQ lunch.
Next, the tour heads deep into the national park, down a long dirt road to a clearing that is a popular kangaroo hang out. These kangaroos are as wild as they can get and you can often spot joeys in and out of the pouch! After getting a few snaps of kangaroos and throwing a boomerang, the tour heads to top-secret viewpoints, and on warmer days, substitutes this secret viewpoint for swimming and sunbathing at a local swimming spot!
Finally, the tour heads back to the city where you might finish with a drink together at a local bar for anyone who wants to join!
