Tone it down then turn it up on this Balinese adventure from Ubud through to Seminyak. From the patchouli-infused spiritual digs of Ubud and Seminyak&#39;s beach clubs to traipsing up a volcano in Mt Batur and island life on Gili Trawangan, see the best bits of Bali by bus, boat, bike and, foot. Cycle through rice paddies, snorkel over reefs, snap a few sunsets, hike various mountains then throw down some beers. 
 
Day 1: Ubud

Welcome to Ubud, Bali. You&#39;re free to arrive whenever you like today since there&#39;s nothing planned until your meeting this evening. If you do arrive early, feel free to stroll around town, soak up the vibe, and brace yourself to go full eat, pray, love. There&#39;s a reason why Bali is such a popular destination. Meet your leader and crew at 6pm, then go out for an optional group dinner or find a feed on your own.

Day 2: Ubud

Today you are free to visit some temples, wander through the paddy fields, or visit the famous art and craft markets in the centre of town. The Tegallalang rice terraces are a really cool experience. Ubud Palace is a sight you must see. Use your free time to join in some optional activities like a cycling tour, white-water rafting, or a cooking class. If you&#39;d prefer to freewheel it, then just hire a bike and ride around Ubud&#39;s lush countryside. The evening is all yours to do what you&#39;d like.

Day 3: Mt Batur

Depart Ubud for Batur, visiting the Tirta Empul Water Temple en route. Tirta Empul, translating as holy water spring, was built in the 10th century as a place of ritual purification for Balinese Hindus and is still very much in use. This is the real deal, and you&#39;ll see the local Balinese come here to bathe in the pools and purify themselves under the water spouts. Continue to Batur and aim for an early night.

Day 4: Candidasa

Rise and shine early birds, it&#39;s time for a good old-fashioned crater hike. On your included walk, you&#39;ll be just in time to see the sunrise over the valleys of Bali. At 1,717 metres high, Mount Batur sits inside a spectacular caldera along with Lake Batur, which is an awesome sight to see. The lake supports the local fishing industry, while many of the villagers work as guides for the volcano climb. It&#39;s important to remember that this climb takes around one and a half to two hours and it&#39;s all uphill, so a decent level of fitness is compulsory. On a clear morning, it&#39;s possible to see all the way across the Lombok Strait to the peaks of Mt Rinjani. The weather can be unpredictable, so the view is up to mother nature. After descending the volcano, there may be an option to soak in hot springs with great views over the lake and caldera. Later in the afternoon, head southwest to beachside Candidasa. You&#39;re gonna love having a free evening after today&#39;s climb to get super chilled by the beach.

Day 5: Gili Trawangan

Drive 25 minutes to Padang Bai this morning and jump on a speedboat to Gili Trawangan at approximately 09:00. Gili Trawangan, or Gili T as it&#39;s referred to, is essentially the Goldilocks of the three Gili islands, striking the perfect balance between Gili Air&#39;s hippie vibe and Gili Meno&#39;s low-key honeymoon atmosphere. Bare feet are the bare minimum when it comes to dressing code here, and while there&#39;re a lot&nbsp;of snorkelling and swimming, there&#39;re also enough nightlife to keep you entertained all evening.

Day 6: Gili Trawangan

Enjoy a free day on Gili Trawangan to do, well, absolutely nothing. If that&#39;s what you want. Otherwise, why not take an optional cooking or yoga class, or go snorkelling in the ridiculously clear waters. Head out on a motorised wooden boat around the Gili Islands, jumping straight off the boat and coming face-to-face with marine life including colourful fish, coral reefs and, of course, sea turtles. The Gili Islands are popular&nbsp;snorkelling destinations and probably the best spot in SE Asia, so if we have one piece of advice it&#39;s this get wet.

Day 7: Gili Trawangan

Just another day in paradise and how&nbsp;you&#39;ll spend it, is your call. Perhaps jump on another boat for more snorkelling, or maybe take it super easy and post up on the beach with a book, a coconut, or a cocktail. You could also grab a bike and circumnavigate the island on two wheels. All three of the Gili Islands are tiny, but it&#39;ll still sound pretty hardcore when you tell your friends back home you circumnavigated an island. While out on your, ahem, epic circumnavigation, why not join a yoga class to truly Zen out.

Day 8: Seminyak

Have a leisurely breakfast and one last swim on Gili T before walking back to the port and then jumping on the 12:30 speedboat to Benoa Port on Bali, arriving at approximately 16:30. From here, drive an hour to upmarket Seminyak where the sunsets are legendary, the beaches are plentiful, the nightlife is lively, and there are more spas, massages, and treatments that you can poke a stick at. The evening is yours to watch that famous sunset, hit a restaurant and frequent one, two, three or more of the beachside bars dotting the several sandy strips.

Day 9: Seminyak

Give today a real Semin-crack with a range of optional activities to get involved in. Ride dirty in a VW Kombi to get clean on a Spa Safari or, if spas ain&#39;t your thing, swap the bathrobe for a glass and take a Cocktail Safari instead, visiting some of Bali&#39;s best beaches and bars while cruising down the coast. Whatever your decision, you can&#39;t hit Seminyak without soaking up the in a beach club in the afternoon. Ever heard of Potato Head? Cocoon? Ku de Ta? Your leader will take you to a baller beach club this afternoon and your entry is covered, so enjoy some beats, some eats, and some seats? Seriously, sit back, listen to the tunes, splash around in the pool, and watch the awesome&nbsp;people do their thing. You can even try talking to them.

Day 10: Seminyak

Your Bali adventure is over&nbsp;today. However,&nbsp;that doesn&#39;t mean you can&#39;t continue to eat, pray, love, swim, snorkel, sleep, and tan in the future, be it in Bali or back home.

The itinerary was followed, and during our snorkeling trip, we had the opportunity to see turtles. Despite the presence of numerous other tourists from other boats, the experience was fantastic because our guides were in charge of it there. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip, especially the snorkeling and the small islands. I'll undoubtedly do it again and suggest it to others.

Do it again

Highly organized transportation was provided from Bali to Gili. Additionally, we received a prompt pick-up at our lodging. Pleasant staff both "on the ground" and at sea. Water, towels, and a possible remedy for seasickness were provided for us. Thankfully, we didn't require it. This all-inclusive package was ideal for us because we didn't have time to plan for our brief stay in Bali. Small inconsistencies were dealt with and organized right away, and everything was organized. Overall, a worthwhile tour. The hotels we chose and the atmosphere were fantastic. wonderful sunsets

A great time

The guide is trustworthy, dependable, punctual, informative, and has a great sense of humour. He took us to some fantastic locations and restaurants. He was happy to change the itinerary and timings to meet our needs, and he also took some great photos of us, which we greatly appreciated. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a nice guy to take them out for the day so they can take some great photos as memories. Book it if you want a fantastic, reasonably priced, super service for your vacation.

The best holiday in my life

Excellent snorkeling at Gili Air and Meno - spotted turtles, beautiful marine fish. It was a fantastic experience to feed the fish underwater while snorkeling! Gili Trawangan has some of the most beautiful blue sea colors... with numerous shopping opportunities Food and service are both excellent. There are numerous water activities available. The accommodation was clean and well-kept. I would definitely return.

Clear waters

If you're looking for a scenic, historical, and instagrammable adventure, I highly recommend this tour. We saw so much of beautiful Bali and learned so much about the culture from our fantastic guide. It was a wonderful day, with a pleasant and safe trip, flawless organization, and the warmth of our guide.

What to bring:

	<li>We highly suggest you to carry a first aid kit as well as any personal medical requirements as they may not easily be obtained at the locations on this trip. Not all medications available over the counter or by prescription in your home country are available in other countries. Some may be considered illegal or a controlled substance, even if prescribed by a doctor.</li>
	<li>Always carry a copy of your prescription or a letter from your doctor stating what the medicine is, how much you take and that it&#39;s for personal use only. What you need to bring will vary according to when you are travelling. Generally speaking, we recommend you pack as lightly as possible and make sure that you are able to carry and lift your own luggage, and walk with it for short distances. It will also be easier for jumping on and off small boats.</li>

	<li>Bali can be extremely hot and humid. It&#39;s important to prepare for hot sticky temperatures during the day and sometimes cooler climates in the evening. Layers are the best way to tackle this disparity in weather.</li>

	<li>This trip is for 18 to 29 year olds.</li>
	<li>On Day 4 there&#39;s a steep uphill climb of Mount Batur, starting very early in the morning at 03:00. The climb takes around two hours and requires a good level of fitness.</li>
	<li>This trip affords lots of free time so that you will be&nbsp;able to experience Bali the way you wanted. If you&#39;re in need of optional activities, your leader will be on hand to help.</li>
	<li>Visas are the responsibility of the individual traveller. Entry requirements can change at any time, so it&#39;s important that you check for the latest information. Please visit the relevant consular website of the country or countries you&#39;re visiting for detailed and up-to-date visa information specific to your nationality. Your consultant will also be happy to point you in the right direction with acquiring visas. Visas can take several weeks to process, so familiarise yourself with any requirements as soon as you have booked your trip to allow for processing time.</li>
	<li>As a general rule most countries expect that your passport has a minimum of 6 months validity remaining. Please ensure the name on your passport matches the name on your booking and airline tickets. Your passport details are required to complete your booking. Restrictions:

	<li>Several mosquito-borne illnesses occur in Indonesia, including malaria, dengue fever, and Japanese encephalitis. The risk of infection remains low. Protect yourself against mosquito-borne illnesses by taking measures to avoid insect bites, including using insect repellent and wearing long, loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing. Speak to your doctor about prevention and vaccinations before you travel.</li>
	<li>Rabies is a risk throughout Indonesia, especially in Bali. Avoid direct contact with dogs and other animals, including monkeys. Don&#39;t feed or pat them. This includes monkeys in popular markets, tourist destinations, and sanctuaries where you may be encouraged to interact with them. If bitten or scratched, immediately use soap and water to wash the wound thoroughly. Seek urgent medical attention. Pre-exposure vaccine is available but receiving rabies vaccine prior to travel does not preclude the need for post-exposure medical evaluation and additional doses of rabies vaccine. There is a shortage of rabies vaccine in Indonesia and if you are bitten by an animal you should consider travelling to a 3rd country or your country of origin for treatment.</li>
	<li>There are known cases of poisoning from alcoholic drinks contaminated by harmful substances, most recently in Bali and Lombok. Drink only at reputable venues, avoid home-made alcohol, and look for urgent medical attention if you suspect poisoning.</li>
	<li>Do not consume any non-prescription drugs in Indonesia, including magic mushrooms. They are highly dangerous and illegal. Indonesia carries high penalties, including the death penalty.</li>
