The tour will reschedule you to the next available trip that suits you. If you cannot reschedule then there is no charge at all. The tour always recommends that you book for the start of your time in Queenstown to allow for any weather disruptions.

This is an extremely rare occurrence as the&nbsp;pilots will always make the weather call based on the 4 hours&nbsp;for the trip. If the pilots feel there is a chance that the weather will change then the tour&nbsp;will not go. The tour&nbsp;will arrange coach transfers back to Queenstown in the unlikely event that this ever occurs.

For the ultimate Milford Sound experience, fly over snow-capped mountain ranges, sparkling lakes, and tumbling waterfalls as you journey into the Fiordland National Park by plane. Then hop on a cruise to get a better view of the waterfalls and wildlife. The tour returns back to Queenstown on a different flight path so that you can see more of&nbsp;Fiordland National Park.

This tour takes&nbsp;off from Queenstown, and flies&nbsp;above the rugged backcountry of Central Otago, before heading westward to where the glacial fed rivers empty into Lake Wakatipu. Witness what the power of nature created over the years, as you journey over two remarkable National Parks &mdash;&nbsp;Mt Aspiring and the world heritage listed Fiordland National Park.&nbsp;You will fly over other&nbsp;exquisite landscapes on your journey to Milford Sound. Depending on the flight route for the day, your sights may include&nbsp;Skippers Canyon, Glenorchy, Mt Earnslaw, Mt Tutoko, Milford Sound, Mitre Peak, Arthur Valley, Sutherland Falls, the Milford Track, Lake Te Anau, Eglinton Valley, Greenstone Valley, and Lake Wakatipu. 
 
 
Upon landing at Milford Sound Airport, you are welcomed to a view of Mitre Peak, standing tall at the head of the fiord. The tour will hop on a vessel for a comfortable two-hour cruise through one of the world&rsquo;s natural wonders. Make your way past the iconic Mitre Peak and cruise the length of the fiord while a skipper highlights points of interest along the way, including the mighty Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock, and Stirling Falls. Keep an eye out for wildlife that can be found in the region including seals, pods of dolphins, and the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin (seasonal).&nbsp; 
 
 
Complete your journey with a birds-eye view of the largely untouched region as you fly back over the Southern Alps and are welcomed to the incredibly blue Lake Wakatipu upon landing in Queenstown.
