Frequently Asked Questions

What are your weight restrictions?

If you're under 100kg (220lbs), you don't even need to ask! Just book your skydive and get ready to jump. If you're over 100kg, it's a little more complicated; give the team a call, and they can talk about it based on your weight and size.

The minimum weight is 30 kg (66 lbs), but it is more about being able to fit safely into the harness. If you're around that weight, give the team a call, and they can see what they can do.

There is no age restriction in New Zealand, but the Operator has set their own limit at seven years old. They want it to be the child's own decision to jump! The child must also meet the weight restriction (30kg) and fit safely into the harness.

If your child is under the age of 12, please bring them to the dropzone to meet the staff, discover the experience and be fitted in a harness. If you're under 18, The Operator will need a letter of consent from your parents or guardian.

Not much! Just bring your smile, comfy clothes, and shoes that won't fall off. The team can give you a jumpsuit and gloves in the colder months. In the warmer months, you are more than welcome to jump in your own clothes! Otherwise, they have all the equipment you'll need – no need to bring your own parachute!

Yes, no problem! It's actually recommended so you can enjoy the views! If you wear glasses, the team will give you special goggles that will fit over them. If you wear contacts, just tell your instructor.

If the weather doesn't look too great, the team will give you a call on the day of your jump and work something out with you to fit your schedule.

The Operator has a small plane that can take two tandems at a time. That puts some restrictions on how many can jump at the same time, but they can guarantee you'll sit next to each other on the plane and have a more personal experience!

Under New Zealand aviation rules, you can't take your camera during your skydive. Cameras can come out and fall or break, which could hit you or your instructor or fall on some unlucky person's house! You're also not allowed to take it on the plane as the crew will need you focused on what they're telling you.

Yes, there is parking onsite.
