Where, and what time do I check in?

Please check in 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.Check-in is at The Operator's retail store, which is located at 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740.

- SWIMSUIT
- SUN PROTECTION (such as a hat, reef-safe suntan lotion and sunglasses)
- Underwater camera or gopro. We also offer them for rental at our check-in location
- There is ample space on board to store any personal belongings such as a small bag or backpack if you wish to bring one.

There is validated parking available at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel, located at 75-5660 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. The cost is $10 per vehicle for up to 5.5 hours. If you decide to take advantage of this option, please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to check-in. The fee and parking validation will be processed at check-in.

Directions to the free municipal parking lot are as follows:
Heading SOUTH on Highway 19 (Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway):
- Turn right onto Palani Road.
- At your second stoplight, turn left on KUAKINI Highway.
- Approximately 150 yards on your right hand side is Likana Lane, which is where the free municipal parking lot is located.
- From the parking lot, just walk towards the ocean and turn right on Ali'i Drive
- The Kona Square Shopping Complex is located on your right-hand side (approximately 5 minute walk).

Heading NORTH on Highway 11 (Mamalahoa Highway):
- Turn left onto Palani Road
- At your second stoplight, turn left on KUAKINI Highway
- Approximately 150 yards on your right-hand side is Likana Lane, which is where the free municipal parking lot is located.
- From the parking lot, just walk towards the ocean and turn right on Ali'i Drive
- The Kona Square Shopping Complex is located on your right-hand side (approximately 5 minute walk).

Yes. Please be advised that only children ages 5 and above are allowed in the water and must know how to swim without the assistance of a floatation device.  If children are just riding along on the boat (not going in the water), it is required that one parent/guardian remain with their child on the vessel at all times. 

Yes. You will get incredible views of the Kona coastline and the tours regularly see whales (seasonal) and dolphins, so cameras are highly recommended. There are waterproof cell phone cases for purchase and sports-action camera rentals available at the check-in location.

In the event that the Operator ends up canceling a tour due to inclement Kona weather, you will be offered the opportunity to rebook to another day or receive a full refund.

No. You must know how to swim. For those that can swim, but do not know how to snorkel, we do provide snorkeling instruction on the boat.
