Itinerary
Embark on an out-of-this-world experience and explore all the highlights of the outer Great Barrier Reef and the spectacular Whitsunday Islands National Park.
Your day starts bright and early, with pick ups from the Port of Airlie at 8am, Daydream Island at 7.45am or Hamilton Island at 9am. Enjoy the spectacular views as you cruise through the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands on a high-speed catamaran. Make your way to the floating pontoon on the pristine Hardy Reef for a fun-filled day of adventure and discovery!
Explore the colourful coral and tropical fish from the pontoon and enjoy a fascinating insight into the incredible marine life with the underwater viewing chamber!
Onboard, there's a choice of areas to relax, a great range of activities, freshwater showers and incredible food! For those who prefer staying high, you can enjoy the spectacular views from the underwater viewing chamber or experience the unique marine vistas on a reef safari in one of the semi-submersible submarines!
Soak up the sun on the sun-deck or relax in air-conditioned comfort as you enjoy unspoiled panoramas of the breathtaking reef. When all the sea air makes you hungry, treat yourself to delicious morning and afternoon teas! Tuck into an all you can eat buffet lunch, freshly made by chefs on the mainland.
After a full-day of aquatic exploring, your amazing Great Barrier Reef adventures come to an end. As the sun sinks in the sky, take one last dip in the turquoise water before heading back to the mainland. Enjoy the scenic vistas of the Whitsundays with stops at Hamilton Island at 5pm and Daydream Island at 5.50pm before returning to the Port of Airlie Beach at approximately 6.10pm.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Whitsundays are located in the tropics with an average daily temperature of 27°C. During the summer months of December to February, the average temperature is over 30°C and during the winter months of June to August, a mild 23°C is the average.
All activities and day cruises that we offer are able to be experienced regardless of the season, so really, the time of year you visit just depends on your preference.
During the months of November to May, mosquitos are more prevalent than at other times of the year. There are also pesky March Flies from February to April (approximately) at Whitehaven Beach. But hey, that's what you get in a tropical place! We always recommend you bring along some repellent.
Yes, we sell a range of food and drink (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) onboard. Personal alcohol cannot be consumed onboard.

We recommend you bring your swimwear, a beach towel, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, comfortable shoes, a light jacket or sweater to protect against the wind and cooler weather, as well as a credit card for snacks, drinks and optional activities.

Changes may occur due to flight schedule changes, bad weather and sea conditions, including tides, wind, swell, sun and rain and other factors in order to guarantee the safety and comfort for passengers, crew and other vessels.

You must check in with our representative at the location stated on your Booking Confirmation 30-40 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

Child Fares are for children aged 4-14. Infants under 4 travel free of charge but the operator must be advised at time of booking. With the exception of Great Barrier Reef Adventures, infant meals are not included on Day Cruises. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult carer.
In the event that a booking is cancelled, the following fees will apply:
- Amendments are permitted up to one day prior, but fees may apply
- Cancellation 48 hours or more before departure: no fee
- Cancellation within 48 hours of departure: 100% of the total cost
