Where we visit:
The full day tour meets at 8am to check in at the shop (Shop 8, Coral Bay Arcade) where you will be provided with all the equipment you need for the day. Then, the group head down to the jetty on the bus to begin the day's adventure!
This tour includes two dives or two snorkels on the incredible Ningaloo Reef. Here, you can see a variety of tropical fish, possibly turtles, sharks and definitely beautiful coral structures. In between the two dives/snorkels, the group will head out into Batemans Bay, a sandy bottom bay, and send the spotter plane out in search for manta rays. If the crew find mantas, you will then have the opportunity to snorkel with them! The crew will try their very best to get you as much time in the water with the manta rays.
Once you have completed our manta ray interaction portion of the day, the group will cruise around the bay in search of other marine animals while the crew prepare lunch. You will get to enjoy a buffet-style lunch on board and the crew can accommodate for any dietary requirements. Once the group have filled their bellies, the tour will head back over to the Ningaloo Reef and enter the water for the final in water activity! You will then head back to the jetty and finish the day back at the shop.

The dive sites are beautiful coral reef dives have a varied depth of 4m to 12m, with our average depth being at 6m to 8m. As the Ningaloo Reef is a fringing reef, it is quite shallow all around but filled with spectacular coral structures and marine life. All of the dives are guided dives with maximum group sizes of eight, although typically, there's smaller groups.
Dives are 45 to 50 minutes long and the average visibility in Coral Bay is 10m to 15m but can vary depending on conditions. The water temperature varies from 20C up to 26C in the summer and you are provided with full length, 5mm wetsuits.

Please keep in mind that the dealings with wild animals in their natural environment are unpredictable. The supplier's commitment to you is that the crew will make every possible effort to ensure that you have the best experience possible, however, there is no guarantee that the group will see all, or any, of the wildlife mentioned. There is no refund if we are unable to locate the wildlife on your specific day.
The supplier can only take children old enough to walk and move around unaided as there is dive equipment on board and a parent/guardian must be with them at all times throughout the duration of the tour.
- The tour must have a minimum of 2 people to confirm the discover scuba dive program
- Divers must be physically capable of the program
- If you do have a medical history and do not hold a current medical statement allowing you to dive we can deny your enrolment in the discover scuba dive program and a refund will NOT be provided.
All staff have completed the mandatory COVID-19 hygiene training and assessment and a minimum of one staff member on board the vessels will have completed the hygiene officer course
New procedures have been implemented for all the tours and will be explained during the safety briefing on board the vessels
Maximum passenger limits have been modified to comply with the current government regulations and seating arrangements are put in place to adhere to social distancing
All surfaces will be regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the day during tours and in the shop
All dishes provided will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised with a food safe sanitiser after each use
All passengers are encouraged to make their own way to the jetty to minimise being enclosed in a small space on our bus. It is less than a five-minute drive from the shop to the jetty
All passengers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottle and drinking cup for hot beverages. If you cannot provide your own, you will be allocated one drinking cup for the duration of the tour
All food provided will be pre-packed in individual servings
- If the supplier does not make minimum numbers to confirm the tour or if the weather conditions are not permitting, the supplier will contact you by 5pm the day prior via phone call or email to let you know of the cancellation and a full refund will be provided or the option to change to another date.
If we cancel a tour due to bad weather, vessel problems or not meeting minimum passenger numbers , you will receive a full refund.
If you give us 72 hours you will receive a full refund or the option to move your tour to another day
48 hours notice and you will receive a 50% refund or the option to move to another day
Less than 48 hours notice, no refund will be given and no option to move to another day
