Conditions at the Spit are generally very good for beginner lessons. However, if conditions are too rough for participants, the session will be rescheduled to a different date or your money refunded.
What do I need to bring?

On the beach you will only be needing swimmers and big desire to surf and have fun. You will be provided with a wetsuit, rash shirt, sunscreen and of course … a surfboard.
You must arrive in your swim wear ready to start the lesson. If you need to change, you need to arrive 20 minutes prior to the start time.

The office is located he Get Wet Office, directly behind the Seaway Cafe in Doug Jennings Park. The car park offers free parking all day.

When you arrive, walk down the right hand side of the cafe and you will find them located there

Please ensure that you arrive no later than 15 min prior to the start time. If you arrive after the lesson has started you will not be able to join in late

You will be a little salty and sandy so if you want to have a quick rinse off there are outdoor fresh water showers and bathrooms.
