What to Expect

Immerse yourself in the World Heritage-listed rainforests of Springbrook National Park on this half-day tour from the Gold Coast. The day includes five waterfalls, stunning rainforest walks, epic vistas, and afternoon refreshments.

After getting picked up at 12:30 pm, you'll take a short drive from the beaches of the Gold Coast through Numinbah valley with its high cliffs and green country pastures. Listen to the informative commentary on the area and wildlife during the journey. The road leads you to the World Heritage-listed Springbrook National Park, where you'll explore the ancient Gondwana rainforest with Antarctic beech trees dating back over 3000 years.

Visit the stunning Natural Bridge waterfall on a fully guided walk led by your expert local guide. Learn about the unique flora and fauna as you make your way through the rainforest to the waterfall. Once you're inside the cave, witness the unique and magical sight of water cascading through the roof of the basalt cave, which was formed over millions of years. Don't forget your camera for this one!

The tour's next stop is the Best of All Lookout, which offers a sweeping view across the valley from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay and Mount Warning. The walk to this magnificent lookout takes you through one of the few remaining pockets of ancient Antarctic beech forest.

Enjoy afternoon tea of savoury and sweet snacks with cold drinks before heading to the nearby viewing platform to see the majestic Purling Brook Falls.

Finally, take in the views of Twin Falls and Rainbow Falls from Canyon Lookout on the way home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket, hat, water bottle. The rainforest walks require a low to moderate degree of fitness and follow clearly marked paths and boardwalks. Enclosed shoes are recommended.

All the vehicles carry umbrellas, insect repellents and first aid kits.

The Operator has a fleet of 16 seat Mercedes Benz vehicles. They are comfortable and spacious with reclining seats and it is comfortable to stand inside the vehicle when taking your seat.

Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour departure will attract a 100% cancellation fee (includes no shows)
Cancellations received within 48 hours of departure will attract a 50% cancellation fee
