What to Expect
The Gold Coast's number 1 skydive with beach landing!
Skydiving is known, for very good reason, as life's ultimate thrill. It's an experience like no other. Amazingly, the buzz of free fall is an easy and safe experience, especially during a tandem skydiving adventure.
The beauty of tandem skydiving is that it requires none of the usual intensive skydiving training, but offers 100 per cent of the mind-blowing, 200km/hr open-air thrill. The feeling is often described as floating on a cushion of air as you hurtle 7,500 feet through the sky in 45 seconds. The skydiving parachute is deployed at around 4,500 feet, offering an intensely serene experience and one of the world's greatest views, perfect for reflecting on the high-adrenaline skydiving adventure you've just enjoyed. During the five-minute glide to earth you'll be taught to control your direction and descent speed and, once you touch down, you'll be on a high for weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes absolutely. If you’re unsure you can see our sample packages and chat to our friendly staff about the best option for you directly before your jump.
Yes, but we advise you wait 24 hours after your scuba dive before coming to skydive. You can scuba dive straight after your skydive though so if you’d like to do both and are restricted on time consider booking your skydive first.
It’s perfectly normal to be nervous. It’s not every day that you jump out of an aircraft. Enjoy the nerves, it’s all part of the experience. Our staff are all highly experienced and will help you turn your nerves into the experience of a lifetime.
The age minimum for jumping in Australia is 16 years. Any person under the age of 18 years needs a parent or legal guardian to accompany them in order to read and sign our indemnity form.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no upper age limit for skydiving, provided you are fit and healthy you can go for a tandem skydive! We recommend tandem passengers over 60 years of age seek medical consent from a medical practitioner prior to making a booking. Our oldest customer to date was 90 years of age!
Of course! Bring them to the office with you and we will ensure they are there when you land.
Your arrival time is 15 minutes prior to the time you booked for your jump.
Unfortunately not. CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) regulations prevent loose articles being taken up in the aircraft if the door is being opened mid flight. However we do offer a full video and photos service for you to choose from.
We land directly across from Wyndham Resort on beautiful Kirra beach, a 500m walk from the office and 5 minutes drive from the Gold Coast Airport.
We do not jump in rain and we are restricted by a wind speed limit. If the weather conditions are unsuitable on the day that you are booked in to jump you may receive a phone call advising you that your jump has been delayed.
As weather conditions are difficult to predict and can change frequently your jump may be put on hold at anytime before you exit the aircraft.
Many people are scared of heights, this is normal! However, jumping out of an aircraft is different to standing on the top of a tall building and looking over he edge. Even our Chief Instructor has a terrible fear of heights and he has completed almost 12,000 skydives.
Make sure you bring a pair of flat soled running shoes and wear comfortable non restrictive clothing. We do have jumpsuits available if you are coming on the spur of the moment.
If you are jumping during winter bring a warm jumper as it can get cold up there. If you are jumping during summer you can wear shorts and T-shirt. No singlets or vests please.
Skydiving is a half day experience. If you’re driving yourself to our office and everything is running perfectly on time (which is difficult when dealing with an International airport and air traffic control you will need approximately 2 hours for the whole experience.
If you have a group booking the duration will depend on how many people will be jumping.
We are also very dependent on the weather so some delays may occur due to weather conditions which are beyond our control.
Yes. The standard weight limit is 95kg. Each tandem passenger must be weighed at the office prior to jumping. This weight limit is enforced for safety reasons. If you’re over 95kg and under 110kg we would still love to take you skydiving. There are a few conditions that will impact on your jump such as wind direction and strength.
Certain weather conditions may affect whether or not a skydive can take place- In the event the weather conditions are unfavourable, the supplier will be in contact with you on the morning of you scheduled skydive.
