Exclusively operating between November and April each year, this two hour Splash and Slide Dolphin Cruise experience is a must for visitors to Port Stephens.
Home to over 160 resident Bottlenose dolphins, locals have dubbed this the Dolphin Capital of Australia!
Each dolphin watching tour has a high success rate of dolphin sightings, and includes boom net rides, inside and outside viewing areas, entertaining commentary and… a twist and twirl slide for the ultimate fun!
Starting from Nelson Bay Marina, you'll cruise through the spectacular headlands and eastern harbour while enjoying walks around the catamaran's twin-level decks and a licensed bar with snack food available or purchase.

No. This tour is open to people of all ages.
Smart casual is the expected dress code. As you are on a moving vessel, we recommend enclosed shoes. Ladies, we kindly ask you do not wear high heels or high platform shoes on board.

On occasion (although rare), should you not find dolphins, you will be issued free of charge return voucher. This voucher is issued on a stand-by basis.

In the event the guest can access the vessel out of the wheel chair, the chair can be bought on board the main level of the vessel. Due to WHS risk assessments. wheelchair bound guests cannot be assisted onto the vessel by crew. Travel is not recommended for guests incapable of accessing the vessel with minimal assistance.
Please note: All rest room facilities are located down a flight of stairs.

Car parking is free and unlimited in some streets i.e. Laman Street, Church Street, Magnus Street all within walking distance to the marina.
During your tour, the catamaran stops to activate the slide which lands into the open waters. The boomnet is activated on the return journey to the marina. We recommend confident swimmers for this cruise if they wish to utilise the slide.

Care is taken to ensure your safety whilst on board this vessel. However, be warned that there are inherent risks by being aboard any vessel including, but not limited to, movement of the vessel, unpredictable sea conditions, unfamiliar design features such as stairs, coamings and water on decks, slides, boom nets, ancillary equipment used and/or from the vessel etc
Passengers must not bring any alcoholic beverages or illegal substances onto the vessel. ID may be required to purchase alcoholic beverages
Should a cruise not operate for any reason, passengers will be offered an alternative day of travel or a refund will be authorised
