Enjoy the best the Hunter Valley has to offer with beautiful wines, handcrafted beers, ciders and more. Admire the picturesque surrounds of Australia's first wine region. See behind the scenes and have a taste of the local flavour of the Hunter Valley!

The Hunter Valley Grains and Grapes tour takes you to two craft breweries and two award-winning wineries just an hour from Newcastle.

 

In addition to all the great local producers we visit, the tour also includes a relaxed one course lunch with a wine, craft beer or cider to allow guests to take in the Valley’s charm.  

 

Because our tours are truly behind the scenes experiences sometimes our plans need to change to accommodate the venue's operations. And sometimes we just know about the goings-on around town that are worth checking out, so we may change some parts of our tours. Whilst these changes are rare, we do reserve the right to make them. If you do have a must-see spot, please let us know when making your booking and we'll do all we can to make it happen.

 

What to bring: A valid passport, drivers licence, proof of age card, or other suitable forms of identification.

 

What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes with a good grip.

Terms & Conditions:

  • The minimum age to attend this tour is 18 years.
  • Price is per person.
  • There is a 6 person minimum for this tour. We will contact you the day before if this minimum is not met. Your order will be confirmed once we have filled 6 seats on the tour.
  • This tour operates on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Inform us in advance, of any physical, medical, or another special requirement as not all locations we visit may have the required facilities or access.
  • Guests must at all times abide by state and federal laws regarding lawful drinking practices (e.g. Responsible Service of Alcohol). Service of alcohol may be refused to persons deemed intoxicated.
  • It is your responsibility to carry a valid passport, drivers licence, proof of age card, or another suitable form of identification and for the duration of the tour you are responsible for your own behaviour; uncontrollable and disruptive drunken behaviour will not be tolerated any person deemed unruly or disruptive will be removed from the tour and will not be entitled to any refund.
  • Do not drive after one of our tours, we, unfortunately, cannot accept any responsibility for your ability to get home once our tours finish.
  • At all times, the decision of Dave's Tours tour leader or representative will be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of the tour.
