Itinerary:
Day 1: Gold Coast - Moreton Island - Tangalooma Shipwrecks - 'The Desert'
(Lunch and dinner)
Pick-up is at 5.45am from Mantra on View Hotel (22 View Ave, Surfers Paradise). From there, make your way to Moreton Bay where you'll enjoy a beautiful cruise on the MiCat Ferry. Relax in air-conditioned comfort and enjoy the cafe and bar facilities.
Once you arrive on the island, it's time to relax on the beach at Tangalooma Wrecks. After you've soaked up some sun, dive in for a fully guided snorkelling tour of the Wrecks. As you snorkel you'll see turtles, dolphins, coral and thousands of beautiful reef fish!
All snorkelling gear is supplied. Wetsuit hire is available all year round - perfect for the colder months. There are also safety vests available for less confident swimmers to guarantee your safety. Please note snorkelling is dependant on the wind, weather and tidal conditions.
Later, discover the hidden underwater wonders of the Tangalooma Wrecks further with a fully guided trip on transparent kayaks! Experience the awesome fish feeding frenzy as you paddle.
Next, head to 'The Desert' where you'll embark on a sand sliding adventure. Tobogganing at speeds of up to 70km/h will get your heart racing!
Later, head to beautiful Tangalooma Beach for a swim in the crystal clear water.
Then, as nighttime approaches, settle back to enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful sunsets over Moreton Bay. Afterwards, you'll check into the rustic Castaways for the night.
Tonight you can enjoy an optional nighttime transparent kayaking trip for an extra $45. You'll see colourful fish and coral as the kayaks light up with
underwater lights! Otherwise, gather around the campfire to roast marshmallows and enjoy a few drinks with your new friends.
Day 2: Eastern Surf Beach - Champagne Pools - Cape Moreton - Blue Lagoon
(Breakfast, lunch)
Start your day with a 4WD trip along the magnificent Eastern Surf Beach! This is only the start of your 4WD adventure today, as a day of exploring bushland and beaches awaits.

Next, continue your 4WD trip with stops at the beautiful Honeymoon Bay and North Point along the way.
Afterwards, you'll head to stunning Cape Moreton where Cape Moreton Lighthouse and Museum await. You'll also be able to spot turtles, dolphins, sharks, manta rays and whales (in season) from the cliffs. This viewpoint also off spectacular views of Moreton Island and the Eastern Beach.
Breathtaking Blue Lagoon freshwater lake is your next stop. Take a dip here and enjoy the clear, sparkling water.
