Super sortie!

We were really close to all of the beautiful animals. We also petted the kangaroos and took nice pictures of them. The cages were clean and it looked like they were being treated well. We had a really nice time there.

This is such a nice 'zoo'! It felt like the animals were treated very well and the enclosures all looked good. For sure a highlight was feeding and petting the kangaroos, for someone from Europe this is something that I never thought would be possible. It was also quite close to Brisbane so ideal for our week stay in the city. Felt like a true australian experience!

Best experience ever, I only ever wanted to do one thing when in Australia and that is to cuddle a koala. This place is the best , very organised, quite a lot to see. My self and my wife paid to do the Koalas photo experience, and we absolutely loved it , they are so cute. Also there’s a large park where you can hand feed kangaroos, bags of food can be purchased at the food shop. Lovely day out

I had a great time visiting the lone pine koala sanctuary! It was easy to navigate the sanctuary and they had lots of free talks/demonstrations throughout the day. I would definitely recommend pre-booking the hold a Koala experience - it sells out fast but is so worth it. This is a great place to visit solo or in a group with lots to see!

This exceeded our expectations! We had a private guide and a small group, 5 of us. We learned so much and loved the individual information and attention. We got front row seats for the raptors and sheep dog show. We got to go back stage and prepare food for the Platypuses and had our pictures taken with a Koala and a snake and we got to go in a visit the Dingos and meet with their caretaker. I cannot tell you how much we learned, our guide was exceptional. We were served Morning Tea and a lovely lunch at a quiet table. We were in Australia for one week and New Zealand for one week. This day at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was one of the highlights of our trip by far. They do wonderful work and so much more than Koalas! Tasmanian Devils, Lorikeets, Kangaroos, Wallabees, check out their website, make a reservation for a guided tour. Everyone in our group expressed without reserve that it was money well spent!
