What to Expect

View some of Queensland's best marine life up close with this cruise headed for the Moreton Bay Marine Park. See dolphins, turtles, dugongs and more! You can choose to self-drive to the marina for departure, or opt for return transfers from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

The spectacular Moreton Bay Marine Park is a wildlife-rich area off the coast of Brisbane home to over 700 Bottlenose dolphins. On this cruise, you will have the opportunity to find these playful and intelligent creatures up close on the catamaran while learning about their habitat, diet, behaviour and other interesting facts. Cruise across the scenic waters, enjoying morning tea before arriving at the island.

Once you arrive at the beautiful blue waters of Moreton Island, join in on a snorkel tour with the assistance of experienced guides and see the marine life of this region firsthand. Be amazed by a range of coral and subtropical fish species of dazzling colour variations and see the iconic Tangalooma Wrecks – a series of 15 shipwrecks that attract a variety of aquatic life.

Join a fish feeding session guided by a marine naturalist. You'll get pellets that suit the diet of marine fish…as well as Gorgie, the friendly pied cormorant who often likes to steal their food.

Following this, tuck into a tasty tropical buffet lunch. It includes a selection of cold dishes such as succulent roast chicken and fresh-baked ham off the bone, wild-caught local king prawns, and plenty of vegetarian options.

Next, it's time to digest all that good food with some free time on the beach. Explore miles of unspoilt beaches by foot, build castles by the shore with the kids, climb a sand dune to capture an Insta-worthy view, or simply stretch out under an umbrella with a good book, there is plenty of free time on the island for you to spend as you see fit.

Finally, it's time to get back on the water for a Marine Discovery Cruise. Keep an eye out for more dolphins, dugongs and turtles before returning across the Bay at the journey's end.
