Margaret River Wine Adventure Tour
On this wine and nature lover's day out, experience everything Margaret River has to offer, from gourmet wines and produce, to the great outdoors. What's Included
What to Expect
Not just another wine tour, if you only had one day to spend in Margaret River, this is your opportunity to experience it all. On this amazing full-day guided adventure, you will explore a tranquil section of the river via canoe, hike and 4WD along the spectacular Cape to Cape Track, and enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes winery lunch at Fraser Gallop Estate. Margaret River might be well renowned for its wineries, but the scenic beauty of the region is just as memorable.
Enjoy a peaceful start to your day of highlights with a canoe trip down a stunning section of the Margaret River. You won't get wet, dirty or fall in, so relax and take in the natural scenery while you glide along. Next, swap the river for the beach as you check out one of the region's top beach breaks and enjoy a coffee. This is how the winemakers relax.
Stop at an ancient waterhole to spot freshwater Marronand wildlife and taste local honey while you reflect on Aboriginal history dating back more than 50,000 years. The next big highlight of the day is a gourmet lunch at one of the region’s emerging superstar wineries – Fraser Gallop Estate. Enjoy exclusive access to the working winery and vineyard and savour some of the best wines in the region matched with local produce while seated among barrels of ageing wine.
Finish your day on a high with a 4WD adventure and walk on a spectacular section of the Cape to Cape Track – the Wilyabrup Cliffs. We have special government approval to use a 4WD track that offers stunning clifftop views. High above the Indian Ocean the epic scenery, fresh sea breezes and surrounding ancient soils provide a deeper understanding of the unique environment of the Margaret River region. Dolphins, sharks, whales, kangaroos, eagles and wildflowers are seasonal, but all possible to be spotted on the Cape to Cape Track.
Hosted by Western Australian Guide of the Year - Sean Blocksidge, you will get to explore more of Margaret River's hidden treasures that most visitors to the region will miss. It's the ultimate wine and adventure tour for people who don't do tours.
