The public group lessons include everything you need to know about getting in the surf, staying safe and most importantly, having fun! The highly qualified coaches will be with you every step of the way – on the beach for demonstrations, in the water for tips and assistance and right there when you "claim" your first wave.
At the beginning of each class, the coaches will give you all the information you need to have you feeling assured before even getting into the water. They teach you about the waves, rips, potential hazards and surfing etiquette, as well as techniques on how to carry your board, attach your leg rope, paddle for a wave and stand up.
Once in the water, your coach will assist you with wave selection and help you balance as you get a feel for paddling and standing up on the waves. They will be with you every step to ensure you feel safe and get the best advice for a top-quality lesson.
