Golden Gate Bridge

The orange icon that defines San Francisco, you’re not truly experiencing the city until you come to see the Golden Gate Bridge for yourself. With a total length of 1.7 miles (2.7 km), the bridge attracts more than 10 million visitors a year and has become one of the most famous bridges in the world. Strap on your walking shoes and cross the San Francisco strait, don’t forget to bring water and snacks!

Alcatraz Island 

Island of Incarceration, Island of Freedom. This notorious island is known for its dark history from being a fort and a maximum-security military and federal prison. Located just 1.5 miles (2.4 km) off shore of San Francisco, this island is a must visit for those who want to learn the dark side of San Francisco. 

Fisherman’s Wharf

Experience all of San Francisco in this one place. Situated on the Northern Waterfront, you get to see the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the bay. It’s not a surprise that Fisherman’s Wharf is one of the busiest tourist hotspots in the city! Grab a bite of fresh seafood at one of the numerous restaurants, but make sure the seals won’t get to it first! 

Golden Gate Park

A 1017-acre rectangle green park located right in the heart of San Francisco, this park attracts more than 24 million visitors each year from both locals and tourists. You can do plenty of activities in the park. From exploring the area with a segway tour, or go fishing in one of the park’s many ponds, or you can also take your family for a picnic. Don’t worry, you have plenty of space!
