GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS PAYMENT Credit card details are taken at the time of booking as a guarantee only, payment will be processed when you check in on the day of your flight as all flights are weather dependent. Payment can be made by Cash or Credit Card, we accept all major credit cards except Diners. PRICING All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of 15% GST (NZ Goods & Services Tax). We are not able to accept any other currency for payment. CHILD POLICY A Child is from 4 years to 12 years inclusive and they are charged 50% of the Adult Fare. Children 13 years and older are charged the full Adult fare. For infants up to 3 years old there is no charge, provided they are under 15kg and they are required to sit on an adult's knee. If the child is over 15kg, then they will be charged the Child fare. All children must be accompanied by a fare paying adult. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY All flights are subject to weather conditions and passenger saftey is our main concern. Should we be unable to fly due to inclement wather conditions, we will endeavour to move your booking to another flight if at all possible. In the event that we are not able to move your booking to an alternate flight, there will be no charge for the booking and a full refund of any payments already made will be processed. If you need to cancel your booking, we do require 48 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. MINIMUM NUMBERS All flights have a minimum number of passengers required and if that minimum number is not reached, then Fox Franz Heliservices reserve the right to move passengers to a different flight where possible, or to cancel the flight if no alternate option is available. Fox Franz Heliservices will endeavour to do everything possible to provide an alternate flight where they can. CHECK IN Our offices are located in the Fox Guides Building, Main Road, Fox Glacier and The Alpine Adventure Centre, Main Road, Franz Josef. We require you to check in for your flight at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time. We will escort you to our heli pads from these locations. WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR FLIGHT When you are flying on a helicopter you are required to wear covered in shoes, such as sneakers, for your safety, open toed shoes are not allowed. Also bring your sunglasses and camera. For safety reasons you are not allowed to bring bags on the helicopter. The use of tablets and iPads and selfie sticks are prohibited, and these are not allowed to be taken on your flight. We will keep these items locked up at the office during your flight. SEATING ARRANGEMENTS We do our best to make sure everyone gets a window seat at some point during the flight by swapping seats after landing on the snow. However, we are required by law to load the helicopter in accordance with weight and balance restrictions which may prevent certain passengers from sitting in the front seat, this is a restriction that all helicopter operators must comply with. For these reasons we are unable to guarantee any seating arrangement. KEY POINTS TO NOTE: Price valid to 30 September 2019 / from 01 October 2019 new rates apply Check in for your flight at Fox Franz Heliservices office AT LEAST 30 minutes PRIOR to your flight time, please take note if you are departing from Fox Glacier or Franz Josef and report to the correct location. **PLEASE NOTE IF DEPARTING FROM FOX GLACIER YOU MUST REPORT IN TO THE FOX GLACIER OFFICE: Fox Guides Building, 44 Main Road, Fox Glacier** BRING your camera and sunglasses, and make sure that you are wearing covered in shoes, NO open toed shoes can be worn on the helicopters. DON'T BRING any bags, selfie sticks, iPads or Tablets as these are not allowed on the helicopter, either leave them in your car or we can lock them up at the office during your flight. Individual seating position will be at the discretion of the pilot and assigned in accordance with the Helicopter's safety and weight and balance requirements.
