WHAT TO EXPECT
Our three-day adventure will take you on a journey of discovery combining the breathtaking coastline of the Great Ocean Road and the hinterland of the Grampians National Park. Leaving Melbourne we head south towards some of Australia's most famous surf beaches enjoying the breathtaking coastal views. Along the way, we have plenty of opportunities to see the native wildlife in its natural environment including koalas and a variety of birds.
We enjoy a rainforest walk in the Otway Ranges and visit the iconic Cape Otway light station before staying overnight along the Great Ocean Road. Rising early we travel to the Port Campbell National Park to experience the world famous limestone rock stacks, the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge on the western end of the Great Ocean Road.
From here we head to the Grampians National Park and discover the dramatic mountain views, magnificent rock caves, and stunning waterfalls. We stay overnight in the Grampians in a wonderful natural setting with kangaroos around our campsite.
On day 3 we explore the area and learn about its aboriginal heritage at Brambuk Cultural Centre, visit the spectacular Mackenzie Waterfalls and Reid's Lookout.
If you want to experience both the best of the Australian coast and see some of the most majestic and rugged inland areas then our three day Great Ocean Road and Grampians Adventure is just what you are looking for.
